DINING ROOM ATTENDANT
Position Summary: The Dining Room Attendant supports daily service operations by assisting servers, maintaining clean and organized dining areas, stocking supplies, and helping ensure that tables and service stations are properly prepared. This position contributes to a warm and efficient dining experience by completing routine tasks that support overall service flow.
Status: Seasonal, Full‑time, Non‑exempt
Responsibility: High level of supervision needed. Low level of operational decision making.

Qualifications:
- Basic Administrative Skills – Use of technology, verbal and written communication, business correspondence, organization, time management.
- Advanced Teamwork and Communication Skills – Interact, work and relate with people, listen, speak, read, write, observe, use English fluently.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills – Product knowledge, problem‑solving skills, time management, attentiveness, patience, positive attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, responsibility, professionalism.
- Basic Food Service Skills – Food presentation, service etiquette, knowledge of food and beverage service standards, positive attitude, knowledge of menu components, food, beverage, and wine.
- Basic Safety Skills – Observe safety rules, safely operate equipment, food safety consciousness, CPR and First Aid.
- Experience – At least 3 months in a fine‑dining or high‑volume environment at a high‑end restaurant, resort, or private club.
Effort: Medium – Walk and stand for extended periods, bend, reach, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Work
Conditions:
Level 3 – Half indoor, half outdoor, mostly air‑conditioned, variable schedule, some hazards.
- Assists with setting, clearing, and resetting tables according to Club standards.
- Restocks service stations with glassware, utensils, linens, and other supplies.
- Maintains clean and organized dining areas, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and removing used items.
- Supports servers by running food, delivering water, clearing dishes, and fulfilling routine guest requests.
- Assists with stocking and organizing items before, during, and after service.
- Helps ensure service stations, side work areas, and FOH storage areas remain tidy and properly supplied.
- Responds to basic member and guest inquiries and refers questions to servers or supervisors as needed.
- Assists with pre‑shift setup and closing tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
