Roche Bros. Supermarkets is inviting applications for a Kitchen-Cook to cook, prepare, and display food in a clean, organized, and customer‑friendly manner. The role requires proficiency in kitchen operations, inventory, and ensuring optimal product presentation.

• Oversee line cooking, merchandising, ordering, inventory, and pricing.
• Maintain fresh, well‑stocked products, rotate inventory and use first‑in, first‑out procedures.
• Adhere to sanitation standards and apply the Cleaner’s Creed.
• Assist customers at the service counter and process special orders.
• Support the kitchen manager in daily meal planning and menu creation.
• Handle equipment safely, monitor cooler temperatures, and report refrigeration failures.
• Control shrinkage, utilize proper tare practices, check scales, and minimize waste.
• Participate in team building, follow the Golden Rule, and work collaboratively with associates.

• Minimum age 18.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional cooking experience in a food‑service environment.
• Complete training in kitchen operation.
• Proficient verbal and written English; ability to follow instructions.
• Flexible to work a schedule based on store needs.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Sitting, crawling, pushing, pulling (up to 250 lbs), lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Climbing up to 8 ft, kneeling, and crouching.
• Carrying, bending, balancing, stooping, reaching at waist or overhead.
• Standing or walking on tile or concrete, handling, fingering, and speaking.

• Noise, cluttered floor, contact with irritants, toxic exposure, dust, fumes.
• Slippery floors, contact with sharp objects, twisting or back and neck strain.
• Hazardous equipment and mechanical moving parts.

Food processor, grill, slicer, knives, kitchen utensils, case cutter, warmer, oven, fryer, smoker, electronic scales, mixer, shrink film wrap, power jack, pressure washer, trash compactor.

Inside environment with potential exposure to cold and hot temperatures.

The salary range for this position is $15.40–$20.10 per hour, in accordance with MA Pay Transparency requirements.
