Food Runner

Border Cafe in Saugus is looking for a qualified Food Runner to join our growing team to meet the demands of our fast past, fully operational, full service restaurant. Border Cafe is a staple of the restaurant scene and has been recognized for multiple awards and recognition for quality in food and service. We are continuing to grow daily, weekly, and monthly after getting the doors open to our loyal customers.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Lift heavy trays
• Delivering trays to tables
• Know all table numbers
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Know recipes (sauces, how to plate dishes, etc.)
• Keep working area clean

Qualifications for the ideal candidate would include the following traits but not limited:

• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Active listening
• Excellent physical condition
• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

  Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
