Dishwasher

Job Summary

Wash dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans using machine and manual cleaning methods.

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes and place them in racks of dish machine.
• Wash pots, pans, trays and other large cooking containers by hand.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and deliver them to appropriate areas.
• Fill and empty sinks with proper cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Perform other general restaurant cleaning duties as directed.
• Wipe up spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• High energy and stamina required.
• Able to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to read labels on chemicals and follow product directives.
• Able to identify and perform other tasks during non-busy times.
• Must understand and follow workplace safety standards.

Physical Demands

• This is a physically demanding position.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds,
• Must be able to stand, bend, climb, lift, kneel, reach & push repetitively.
• Must be tolerant of using strong and pungent cleaning products.

Requirements

• Shift Requirements:
  Hours may be late afternoon and nights, including weekends & holidays.
• Age Requirements:
  Applicants must be at least age 16.
