Position: Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

. We are hiring immediately and focused on your success, with full-time hours and competitive pay. The role provides management and leadership experience and ensures employees receive proper training to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees, alongside the Store Leader.
  • Help implement merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Assist with cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe store environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures; ensure products are in stock.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management; maintain accurate records as needed.
Qualifications
  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
  • Demonstrated strength in retention by focusing on qualified applicants, leadership development, and empowerment of employees.
  • Ability to assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
  • Commitment to a clean, safe environment; adherence to health and sanitation procedures; ensure in-stock products.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel preferred).
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance during employment.
  • Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
