Shift: Tues-Sat 1st Shift

The Lead Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts. Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

The Lead Security Officer serves as a leader within the security team, ensuring the safety and protection of The Clark Art Institute’s galleries, staff, visitors, and property. This position performs all duties of a Security Team Lead while learning and performing the responsibilities of the Control Room Officer. The Lead Officer must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and flexibility, including the ability to cover second and third shifts as needed.

• HS Diploma / GED
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR
• Security Experience, law enforcement, or supervisory experience (Preferred)
