Altus Fire & Life Safety Company d/b/a Fire Systems Inc, located in Dartmouth, MA is looking for a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. The Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter is primarily responsible for installing and servicing fire protection systems. Altus is a full-service fire and life safety services platform offering a complete suite of solutions, from design, engineering, installation, and servicing of state-of-the-art systems to training, consulting, crisis management and business continuity services.

• Install, service, inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot deficiencies in fire sprinkler systems.
• Conduct regular system tests and inspections to verify operational reliability and code compliance.
• Professionally interact with customers on-site and provide excellent service.
• Coordinate with office staff regarding scheduling, job status updates, and emergency service requests.
• Accurately complete all required service reports, work orders, and documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable codes during all fieldwork.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience installing, servicing, testing and maintaining various types of fire sprinkler systems.
• Current Fire Sprinkler Journeyman’s license in Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island.
• Experience installing fire pumps, dry systems, steel & CVPC systems.
• Experience reading blueprints and knowledge of all components of a fire sprinkler system.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
