FIELD OPERATOR JOB POSTING COTUIT FIRE DISTRICT WATER DEPARTMENT
The Cotuit Fire District Water Department is seeking applicants for the position of Field Operator. The pay range for this position is $25-$30/hr. – based on qualifications.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Hold and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver's license and reside within a 10-mile radius of the Fire District.
- Obtain a 1‑D Massachusetts Drinking Water Distribution license and a 1‑T Massachusetts Drinking Water Treatment License within one year of employment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and use small equipment; power and hand‑tool experience preferred.
- Full‑time position with benefits, requiring overtime, weekends, holidays, and nighttime work on a 3‑week rotating basis.
40 hours per week from 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Salary: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.
