Mobile Plumber

We are currently looking for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to carry out building maintenance and remedial works within an education setting in North London

As a Mobile Maintenance Plumber, you’ll ensure all plumbing systems within schools operate safely and efficiently. From carrying out preventative maintenance to responding to day-to-day issues, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe and comfortable environment for young adults and children.

• Conducting mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs across a small number of schools.

• Performing fault-finding, testing, and planned preventative maintenance.

• Maintaining plumbing and heating systems throughout the contract

• Repairing and replacing TMV's, radiator valves, taps, toilets, syphons, etc

• Supporting wider building services such as electrical and fabric (with specialist support as needed).

• Assisting with general facilities tasks and responding to helpdesk requests.

• Liaising with external contractors during electrical-related projects.

• NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Heating and Ventilation or Plumbing - essential

• DBS check (enhanced preferred, standard allowed to begin working as you will be working with others to start with)

• Experience working in commercial or office environments or education setting.

• Strong fault-finding abilities and a commitment to safety.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

This role is a temporary position with the chance to turn permanent for the right person.

Own transport or the ability to commute to Islington for an 8am start is essential
