FIELD OPERATOR JOB POSTING

COTUIT FIRE DISTRICT WATER DEPARTMENT

The Cotuit Fire District Water Department is seeking applicants for the position of Field Operator. The pay range for this position is $25-$30/hr.

Applicants must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts drivers license and live in a 10-mile radius of the Fire District. Applicants must have or obtain (within one year of employment) a 1-D Massachusetts Drinking Water Distribution license and a 1-T Massachusetts Drinking Water Treatment License. High school diploma or GED with the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, have skill in the use of small equipment;

power and hand tool experience preferred. This is a full-time position with benefits. The schedule is 40 hours per week from 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday and will require overtime, weekends, holidays and nighttime work on a 3-week rotating basis.
