Direct Care Professional – Service Net
Join Service Net, a compassionate non‑profit dedicated to supporting adults with brain injuries. We are seeking a dedicated Direct Care Professional to provide client‑centered support across our residential programs in Hamden, Hampshire, Franklin & Berkshire counties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily activities (eating, dressing, using assistive devices).
- Provide home support (meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping).
- Transport clients to appointments and community events.
- Maintain accurate daily records and documentation.
- Support clients in achieving personal goals and life skills.
- Administer medications after appropriate training.
- Complete required training and obtain certifications (MAP, MAP certification differential).
- Collaborate closely with team members and follow manager instructions.
- No educational requirements—on‑the‑Job training provided.
- Valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of experience and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform all client duties and ensure client safety.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Background check required.
Pay: $18–$20 per hour (base $18/hr for non‑MAP; $20/hr for active MAP certification; $2/hr MAP differential). Multiple shifts available, including overnights.
