Job Overview

Join Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health as an Education Supervisor in Rutland, MA. The pay starts at $23.12/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $26.86/hour. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm.

$1,000 sign‑on bonus.

Devereux serves students with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our classroom structure is designed to match student needs. Through an interdisciplinary approach, each student has an individualized plan. The curriculum aligns with Massachusetts standards and is coordinated with local school districts.

• Ensure safety and stability of the school environment by providing direct support and coaching to students in crisis.
• Provide in‑vivo training and real‑time feedback to staff on de‑escalation strategies and effective PBIS use.
• Model positive relationships with students by facilitating and participating in activities.
• Supervise Direct Care Staff, facilitate monthly trainings, complete observation documentation, and collaborate with other departments.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience required working with individuals under 21 with behavioral disorders, complex PTSD, co‑occurring mental health and substance abuse, and/or autism, or in a school setting.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must attend a 2‑week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, in Rutland, MA.
