1st Shift - Warehouse Merchandise Handler

Jordan's Furniture is searching for motivated team members to join our busy Merchandise Handling team at our Taunton, MA Distribution Center. In this physical warehouse job, you will be unloading and putting away all types of furniture by hand and using a variety of equipment. No equipment experience? We've got you covered! Jordan's provides valuable on‑the‑job training with room to grow.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. What’s better than having your afternoons free and weekends off?

$20.00 per hour

Pay range: $20.00 per hour. We share our pay range because transparency matters. This reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on experience and performance.

• Receive and unload merchandise from trailers and place them in appropriate staging areas, including mattresses, dressers and sofas.
• Physically load and unload furniture pieces with order pickers while safely navigating machinery through the warehouse.
• Perform visual inspection of merchandise.
• Maintain established departmental goals.
• Perform rack and sprinkler inspections.

• Safe work habits.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while on your feet for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, pull, push and move furniture weighing up to 110 pounds.
• Reliability.
• Meeting daily departmental goals.
• Ability to work at heights of 35 to 50 feet.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screening. Don’t worry – you can do it.
