Prep Cook - Sunday and Monday, 10:30am - 7pm, Casual

Join the Food Services team at The Bristal Assisted Living. We are looking for a talented and experienced Cook to help prepare meals for our residents.

• Assisting with the preparation, seasoning and cooking of meals for residents and employees as directed by the Director of Food Service or the Sous Chef.
• Preparing food for the next meal service, which includes chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes.
• Ensuring all procedures are conducted following required health department and company regulations.
• Checking food temperatures prior to meal service.
• Garnishing all plates before they leave the kitchen area.
• Assisting with other kitchen functions as necessary, including dishwasher, utilities, line cook, prep cook.

• Experience working in a busy kitchen or food preparation area (restaurant, catering, hospital, hospitality, healthcare or similar).
• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in English and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies and sanitary standards established by management.
