Locum - Physician - Urgent Care Massillon, OH

OVP Health seeks an Urgent Care Physician who will be expected to practice in Massillon, Ohio.

• 10a-10p daily shifts, with potential to run 7 on/7 off until the full-time provider starts in October.
• Single physician coverage (full coverage needed until 10/20 when the FT physician begins).
• Single APP coverage (half coverage until the second FT APP is hired).
• Projected daily census of 50-60 patients.
• EMR:
  Care Cloud.

OVP Health is seeking a qualified physician to practice in Urgent Care. The physician will work 12-hour shifts, typically from 10a-10p, on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule; alternative schedules such as 5 days/week, 4 on-3 off, will also be considered. The primary responsibility is to treat and evaluate patients, providing excellent patient care amidst variable daily patient volumes.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, with a valid state medical license and DEA registration by start date.
• Completion of residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Occupational Medicine.
• Board certified or eligible in one of the aforementioned specialties.

Please note:

• Medical staff fees will NOT be reimbursed.
• Physician conversion fee cap: $18-$20K.
• All lodging arrangements will be handled by OVP.
• No overtime pay.
• All requirements must be noted at time of name clearance; failure to do so will result in redirection.

• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Occupational Medicine (REQUIRED).
• Active Ohio medical license (REQUIRED, no exceptions due to quick start date).
• DEA registration (REQUIRED by start date).
• BLS certification (REQUIRED).
