Job OverviewDYS seeks a Human Capital Management Analyst to serve as part of the human resources team, supporting recruitment, benefits administration, orientation, payroll, employee wellness, and workforce planning at a juvenile correctional facility.
Responsibilities- Recruit and advertise vacancies; schedule interviews; conduct preliminary screening and interviews; manage personnel actions and recruitment records.
- Enroll and advise employees on health benefits; maintain and process claims for leave programs.
- Conduct new employee orientation and coordinate pre‑hire appointments.
- Assist in payroll processing, review reports, correct entries, and enter off‑work components.
- Plan, track, and analyze employee recognition and wellness programs; collect data, analyze trends, and implement strategic HR initiatives.
- Serve on committees, complete employment verification forms, maintain personnel records, and manage supplies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Or completion of an undergraduate core program in Human Resources, Business, or Public Administration.
- Or 1 year as a Human Capital Management Associate (OCC 64611).
- Equivalent to the Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
