As a self-insured staffing company, we manage claims in-house, and the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of work comp laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple claims across different jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all work comp claims from intake to closure
  • Review injury reports and ensure timely filing with appropriate state agencies and TPAs
  • Coordinate with adjusters, healthcare providers, internal departments, and injured employees
  • Track lost time, medical-only, and indemnity claims, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable workers’ compensation laws and reporting requirements
  • Prepare OSHA logs and internal safety reports
  • Identify trends, flag potential fraud, and recommend corrective or preventative actions
  • Assist with return-to-work planning and light-duty placement when appropriate
  • Support internal audits and risk management initiatives
  • Work closely with HR and operations to ensure consistent safety practices across all placements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in workers’ compensation claims administration (staffing industry experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of multi-state work comp regulations (especially for self-insured employers)
  • Experience communicating with TPAs, carriers, medical providers, and injured workers
  • Proficient in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a self-insured environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA reporting and workplace safety compliance
  • Familiarity with staffing industry operations and light-duty accommodations
  • Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company

The company offers a range of benefits, including 401(k), medical insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
