What You'll Do

DYS is looking for a dedicated Laundry Worker to play a vital role in ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for our youth by assisting in washing, drying, sorting, and distributing laundry in the facility.

Duties include but not limited to

• Sort soiled laundry by color
• Record receipt and distribution of laundry
• Operate commercial laundry equipment
• Fold roughdry laundry
• Operate sewing machine to repair clothing or linen
• Perform housekeeping duties in assigned area (sweep floors, dust equipment, etc.)
