Pay: Starting $30.00 per hour plus Shift Differential $1.00 per hour. Can earn up to $37.50.

2nd shift; 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.
In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing maintenance of the facility and production equipment to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high‑quality products. You’ll install, maintain, and repair facility and production equipment, working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. This position is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business which serves producers and animal owners across the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with all safety processes and enforce safety practices for self and others.
- Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
- Monitor performance of plant machinery and equipment; perform regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, tests, troubleshooting, and inspections; document work accordingly.
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.
- Multi‑task and keep up with demands in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- At least 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals.
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem‑solve, and troubleshoot.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; respectful in all interactions.
- 1 to 3+ years working with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.
- LOTO experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.
- Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
- Work in temperature zones that may be cold or hot for extended periods; may include areas with dust and chemicals.
