Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Employment Type: PRN Schedule - Up to 16 hours per week

Position Summary

The CNA is responsible for providing basic care services to residents while maintaining their dignity, safety, and comfort. CNAs work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and play an essential role in ensuring quality care and a positive experience for each patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care, including assistance with hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility, and eating.
  • Help patients adjust to their environment and daily routines.
  • Maintain resident areas and work spaces in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
  • Treat patients with kindness, respect, and compassion at all times.
  • Monitor and report changes in the patients’ conditions to the nurse or supervisor.
  • Participate in patient care planning and follow established care plans.
  • Support infection control and safety standards to maintain a healthy environment.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
  • Current Ohio Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to lift, bend, stretch, and walk as required by daily duties.
  • Must maintain good emotional health and demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
