Retail Sales Associate Job Massillon area,Ohio USA,Retail

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for enhancing the customer experience and driving profitable sales by providing proactive consultative assistance and support. The role includes achieving department standards and goals, maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized sales floor, and performing sales-support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions using approved selling practices and guidelines.

Consistently meet or exceed performance standards.

Understand website navigation and leverage technology to facilitate the customer experience, especially when products are not available in-store.

Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines, features, benefits, availability, and related services like delivery and installation.

Process transactions accurately in the Point of Sale system, including sales, returns, and exchanges.

Complete required training within the designated timeframe and participate in ongoing learning opportunities.

Collaborate with team members, including other sales associates and cashiers, to provide superior customer service.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

Candidate must have availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts for full-time roles. Part-time positions offer flexible scheduling.
