Overview
Customer Account Manager
Location: Massillon, Ohio (On-site, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Mast Trucking is hiring a Customer Account Manager to serve and grow our customer base. This role is about being the go-to partner for our customers—solving problems fast, communicating honestly, and finding ways to add value that keep them coming back. It’s also about spotting opportunities to grow and make Mast the #1 carrier our customers count on.

What You’ll Do- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring communication is clear, direct, and proactive
- Solve problems quickly and fairly when challenges arise (because in trucking, they always do)
- Partner closely with load planners and driver managers to keep freight moving smoothly
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling, expanding services, and adding value
- Make strategic decisions that balance customer needs with company profitability
- Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and improve the customer experience
- Manage yourself independently, taking ownership of results without needing hand-holding

- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and continuous improvement in how you serve customers
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, or related field)
- 1–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or account management preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to make sound, strategic business decisions
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment
