Customer-Focused Cashier

Elevate customer service as a Cashier in Matane, Quebec. Manage transactions efficiently while ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers at the checkout.

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to serve our clientele in Matane. This position requires effective communication, attention to detail, and strong skills in customer service. You will work predominantly day shifts, with two evening shifts and alternating weekends as part of a 35–40 hour full-time week or up to 24 hours for part-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately record customer transactions in cash register

• Replenish merchandise around checkout areas

• Maintain health and safety compliance at all times

• Keep the checkout area clean and organized

• Follow loss prevention policies diligently

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Attention to detail in transaction handling

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Physical capability to lift up to 18kg (40lb)

• Flexibility for various shifts including evenings and weekends
