Accounting Analyst
We are seeking an onsite Accounting Analyst for a full-time, direct hire role in Matawan, NJ. The role will maintain aging at 90% current through proactive collection efforts, process incoming payments and generate invoices while ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and provide financial, administrative, and clerical services in a high‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Base Pay Range$55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
HoursMonday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
EnvironmentOnsite office environment in Matawan, NJ
Job Description- Process weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc customer invoicing in a timely and accurate manner
- Post customer payments to general ledger received via check and/or ACH; reconcile any short payments or deductions
- Maintain and analyze weekly aging reports and reconcile to periodic general ledger close
- Research and resolve all inquiries related to vendor invoicing and payments
- Conduct daily collection calls on past‑due invoices
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers and merchandisers
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1‑3 years Accounts Receivable experience, including cash application, billing and collections
- Computer skills – proficient in Excel (including formulas and pivots); knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be a team player
- Ability to multitask in a high‑paced, high‑volume environment
