Dietary Aide – Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior experience in a long-term care or rehab facility preferred
Support the dietary department to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met
Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of the Cook or Food Service Director
Transport food carts to appropriate units on schedule
Dispose of leftovers and remove trash as needed
Maintain clean workstations and wash dishes, utensils, and cookware
Restock supplies and monitor kitchen inventory
Comply with facility policies and follow state, local, and federal food safety regulations
Strong communication skills required
Must be positive, dependable, and a team player
Capable of working independently or collaboratively
Schedule & Benefits:
