Dietary Aide – Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Prior experience in a long-term care or rehab facility preferred

• Support the dietary department to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met

• Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of the Cook or Food Service Director

• Transport food carts to appropriate units on schedule

• Dispose of leftovers and remove trash as needed

• Maintain clean workstations and wash dishes, utensils, and cookware

• Restock supplies and monitor kitchen inventory

• Comply with facility policies and follow state, local, and federal food safety regulations

• Strong communication skills required

• Must be positive, dependable, and a team player

• Capable of working independently or collaboratively
