General Overview:
Crew Members are at Jersey Mike's restaurants, which are independently owned and operated franchise locations. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the franchisee. (dba Jersey Mike's) will be assisting with customer needs as they enter and interact in the store.

Employees will work the front counter, be responsible for customer service, making sandwiches, interacting with customers and co-workers on a continual basis. Crew members will complete other tasks associated with operating a store. The expectation of any employee is to uphold the highest level of Jersey Mike's operational standards.

The Crew Member role includes commitment to company goals:

• Provide food that meets Jersey Mike's specifications and high-quality standards
• Provide service that is above and beyond for the customer
• Maintain a clean store and workplace
• Set up of the store, including food preparation
• Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Usage of slicer (18 years old and above only)
• Usage of tomato slicer (17 years old and above only)
• Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities

• 0-1 year experience in food service
• 0-1 year experience in cash handling

• Incumbent of the position performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, all generally involving moderate muscular strain in addition to seeing, hearing, and talking. Safely using all store food preparation equipment for long periods with the required application of eye, hand and finger dexterity. Must be able to lift and carry up to at least fifty (50) pounds unassisted.
