No experience needed## About the role Tinash Homecare Services is hiring a caring, dependable
** Direct Support Professional (DSP)
** to provide one-to-one support to an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the
** Matawan, NJ
** area. This is a steady, set schedule with the same individual every shift, so you can build a real relationship and see the difference your support makes.### Schedule
* ** 8-hour shifts**
* ** Every Thursday**
* ** Every other weekend** (Saturday and Sunday)
* Exact shift start and end times are confirmed at your interview### Pay* **$20 to $25 per hour**, based on experience and qualifications### What you will do
* Provide one-to-one support with daily living: meals, personal care, hygiene, and household routines
* Help the individual build independence and life skills, following their Individualized Service Plan (ISP)
* Support participation in the community: errands, outings, activities, and appointments
* Keep routines steady and the home safe, comfortable, and respectful
* Encourage choice, dignity, and self-advocacy in everything you do
* Write clear, timely shift notes and report any concerns or incidents to your supervisor right away
* Work as part of the planning team with the family, supervisor, and support coordinator### What you need
* 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
* Ability to pass a criminal background check with fingerprinting, plus the New Jersey Central Registry and child abuse record (CARI) checks required for DDD-funded work
* Reliable transportation to Matawan; a valid driver's license is preferred
* Ability to complete required DDD training, including College of Direct Support modules, CPR and First Aid, and Danielle's Law training (we will guide you through what is needed)
* Patience, reliability, good judgment, and clear communication
* Ability to assist with personal care and light physical tasks### Nice to have
* Experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities
* Current CPR and First Aid certification
* Experience as a DSP, CNA, CHHA, or in a similar caregiving role### Why Tinash
