Position Overview
30 Hours Per Week, Term‑Time Only (Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri, 8:00am - 4:00pm)
Start Date - As Soon As Possible
The opportunity has arisen for a part‑time receptionist within our enthusiastic and talented administration team.
Highfields is a vibrant and popular school with approximately 1300 students, including 200 in our sixth form. Our students are friendly and highly motivated.
Highfields is proud to be a part of East Midlands Education Trust (EMET), a partnership of schools whose mission is to raise the educational standards and improve the life chances of all the children within our Trust. Our schools are high‑performing and represent the full age range of 3‑19, along with an alternative education provider, and we place great emphasis on collaborative working across the Trust within a family‑of‑schools approach.
Our schools enjoy a high degree of ‘aligned autonomy’ whilst, at the same time, they are supported by a central trust team who help ensure our schools provide the highest quality of provision possible.

Highfields is situated in Matlock, the county town of Derbyshire, on the south‑eastern edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park. It is within easy reach of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification process, be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
