Event Setup and Breakdown Crew Member

We are seeking dependable Event Setup & Breakdown Crew Members to assist with event preparation and breakdown activities in Matthews, NC.

This is a temporary 2-day assignment supporting event operations. Team members will assist with setting up event spaces, moving equipment and materials, and completing breakdown and cleanup activities following the event.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment while supporting a successful event from setup through completion.

• Set up event spaces according to provided instructions and event requirements
• Arrange and move tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment
• Load, unload, and transport event materials and supplies
• Assist with staging and preparation of event areas
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Break down tables, chairs, décor, equipment, and event materials after the event
• Return equipment and supplies to designated storage areas
• Assist with general cleanup and site restoration activities
• Follow instructions from supervisors and event leads
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete assignments within established timelines
• Report damaged equipment, hazards, or safety concerns to a supervisor
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures

This is a temporary 2-day assignment
. Specific reporting times, worksite instructions, and shift details will be provided prior to the start of the assignment.

Shift lengths may vary based on event requirements and operational needs.

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying
• Moving event equipment and supplies throughout the shift
• Safely lifting and carrying items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
• Working indoors and outdoors, depending on event needs
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Remaining active throughout the majority of the shift

• Previous event setup, banquet, hospitality, warehouse, moving, or general labor experience is helpful but not required

• This position is a temporary assignment expected to last two days.
• Pay is $16.00 per hour for all hours worked

• Team members are expected to arrive on time and be prepared to complete assigned duties.
• Work assignments may include event setup, equipment movement, breakdown activities, and general cleanup responsibilities.
