Certified Sterile Processing Technician

Position located at Matthews Medical Center.

Schedule:

2nd shift 14:30p – 23:00p Monday‑Friday, occasional weekend on‑call, Full‑time. Responsible for providing clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet individual customer needs.

• 4–5 years Sterile Processing Tech experience, strongly preferred.
• Sterile Processing Tech Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT required.
• Additional
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing, knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique, read/write instructions, understand medical terminology, maintain certification.
