Responsibilities- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and solve work-related problems
- Read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints
- Use CMMS software
- Implement and perform preventive maintenance for production machinery and equipment
- Maintain building equipment
- Perform basic calibrations
- Assist in project work as assigned
- Apply quality system procedures and reference documentation
- Identify and fix potential safety hazards
- Follow safety practices and maintain housekeeping standards
- Read and write English
- Basic math skills using a calculator
- Computer skills (email, electronic information retrieval)
- Experience with Prism, Wonderware, SharePoint, email
- Mechanical measurement skills
- Follow instructions
- Good organizational, time‑management, and hand/eye coordination skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, use ladders, stand, kneel, bend, crawl under spaces, and climb ladders or scaffolding
- Good housekeeping skills
- Self‑motivated, able to work with limited supervision in a team environment
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a craftsman, electromechanical or maintenance technician
- Board certification or equivalent experience in electrical wiring, welding, HVAC maintenance, pipe fitting, or hydraulics
- Excellent skills in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, repair of production equipment, milling of metals, servicing of boilers, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, compressed air equipment, painting
- Understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations related to plant operation and maintenance
- Experience with plant safety and fire protection systems
- Experience using CMMS software
