PRN Ambulatory Surgery Center OR Circulator Registered Nurse- Matthews Surgery Center

The
** ASC Registered Nurse (RN)
** will exemplify our organization’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service and Community. Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will is also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

* Essential Functions:

*** The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
* Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
* Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
* Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
* BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
* 2 years of ambulatory experience required. PACU experience is required.### ###

** to join our team at our
** Matthews Surgery Center
** location. The schedule is 8-10 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm.

** Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams

The ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations

** At least two years’ experience in either ambulatory experience required.  PACU experience required.
