We are currently searching for an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location.
40 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Operating room (OR) experience required. PACU experience is preferred but not required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
As an ASC Registered Nurse, you will exemplify our organization’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service, and Community. You will demonstrate technical expertise in orthopedic peri‑operative nursing and clinical care and will be responsible for coordinating the telephone pre‑admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
Essential Functions- The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross‑training to other primary areas, including assisting with turnover and all other aspects of day‑to‑day ASC operations.
- Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre‑admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
- Experience delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high‑performing teams.
- The ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross‑training to other primary areas, including assisting with turnover and all other aspects of day‑to‑day ASC operations.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, college, or university.
- Current license/registration by NC as a registered nurse.
- At least two years’ experience in ambulatory settings; PACU experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
