Surgery Veterinary Technician

About the Role

Our surgery nursing team partners closely with our surgeons, supporting all aspects of surgical and patient care-including elective, emergency, and specialized procedures.

Schedule:

4-day work week with rotating shared on-call.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year of veterinary anesthesia experience

* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

* Diagnostics and surgical assisting

* Anesthesia administration, monitoring, and intervention

* Patient recovery and client education

* Venipuncture, catheterization, surgical prep, lab sample preparation, and more

Ideal Candidate

* Positive, can-do attitude

* At least 1 year of anesthesia induction, administration, monitoring, and recovery experience

* Strong work ethic and organizational skills

* Able to sit/stand for long periods; occasional bending/kneeling; lift up to 40 lbs unassisted

* Solid foundational technical skills (venipuncture, catheter placement, lab work, anesthesia, pharmacology)
