At Plato's Closet Matthews, we specialize in offering trendy, gently used clothing and accessories for teens and young adults. Located in Matthews, NC, we pride ourselves on creating a fun, dynamic shopping environment where fashion meets affordability. We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team and help us deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting our store operations.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to oversee the team, maintain excellent customer service standards, and ensure the store runs efficiently. From assisting with inventory management to mentoring team members, you’ll be a vital part of our leadership team. You’ll also help create a positive and engaging environment for both customers and staff, ensuring every visit to Plato’s Closet Matthews is a memorable one.

We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in retail or a customer-facing environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. If you’re passionate about fashion, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and thrive on motivating others, we’d love to hear from you!
