Position: HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: MTB Mechanical is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on residential and/or commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment
- Inspect systems to identify wear, damage, or potential issues and recommend corrective action
- Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues and complete minor repairs as needed
- Clean and replace filters, belts, motors, and other components
- Accurately document maintenance activities, findings, and recommendations
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system condition and maintenance needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and local codes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years HVAC maintenance experience preferred
- EPA Certification (required)
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
