Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking an experienced Structured Cable Technician to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from a lift.
S.O.W.:
Pull, term, test cat 5/6 cables and assist in installing CCTV, cameras, maglocks, card readers and access control equipment in hospitals, commercial new construction, buildings, and schools.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 2+ years’ experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.
- Ownership of basic telecom tools:
Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc. - Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver license.
