Physician - Primary Care

HSHS Medical Group is seeking an outpatient Family Medicine physician to join an established and very busy practice.

• Clinic based on the campus of HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois
• Located just 3 hours from Chicago and an hour from Champaign (home of University of Illinois)
• Clinic hours Monday through Friday, potential for 4‑day workweeks
• EPIC EMR system
• Thriving practice with 5 providers, ample space for growth

Good Shepherd Hospital is a 30‑bed facility that provides emergency care, laboratory and imaging services in the Shelbyville community 24/7. The hospital features an advanced surgery department, inpatient care, rehabilitative therapy and a wide variety of outpatient services.

• Clinical doctorate required.

• Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients required.

• Licensed physician in the state of practice required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to specialty.
• Successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible.
