The Contribution You’ll Bring to This RoleThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the supply chain activities of the business. This role ensures the timely delivery of quality finished goods and raw materials from all external vendors in support of the production plan and established inventory targets. The incumbent analyzes inventory data, forecasts inventory needs, manages inventory levels, and works closely with various departments to streamline inventory processes.
The manager plays a crucial role in minimizing costs, reducing waste, and ensuring that the right products and raw materials are available at the right time. This position manages a team of Purchasing Agents and a Buyer.

- Manage the supply chain vendor selection and relationships for all materials used in the facility. This includes negotiating prices (including freight), delivery times and billing terms with a focus on total cost of product ownership from end to end. Develop and review inventory management strategies aligned with overall supply chain and business objectives.
- Utilize strategic sourcing opportunities to enhance vendor costs, delivery times, and cost containment. Also support VAVE initiatives within the No
Trax operations team. Monitor the movement of raw materials and finished goods to ensure production needs and eventual customer fulfillment. Have full understanding of ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and how they are used in customer support and delivery times. Own accurate reporting of inventory targets and levels in the warehouse. In addition, the role manages the MRP within the ERP system for accurate forecasting.
Support cycle counting and lead year‑end inventory count. Strong focus on continuous improvement within the inventory and supply chain processes and collaboration across operations and warehousing. - Develop and maintain independent demand forecast models that drive supply chain planning processes. Participate in annual budgeting and strategic planning and goal setting.
- Produce weekly and monthly inventory reports and vendor performance metrics. Prepare additional reports and data analytics as needed for business leaders and executive review. Actively review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare statistical forecast models and then evaluate forecast results.
