We are seeking a skilled and dependable Audio Visual Technician to install, service, and maintain video surveillance and audio-visual systems for a wide variety of clients. This role includes hands-on installation, troubleshooting, wiring, equipment setup, and customer communication. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working in a professional, family-focused environment.

• Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual and video surveillance systems

• Work with high-definition cameras (short-range, long-range, PTZ) and related hardware

• Run, secure, and conceal wiring to ensure clean and professional installations

• Conduct site surveys to determine equipment placement and system design

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide onsite and remote support

• Operate lifts, ladders, and equipment safely according to certifications and training

• Communicate effectively with customers, providing professional and courteous service

• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and equipment used

• Travel to client locations throughout Illinois and nearby states as needed

• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standards

• Previous experience in audio-visual installation, low-voltage wiring, security cameras, or related fields preferred

• Strong technical and mechanical skills

• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and installation instructions

• Comfort working on ladders, lifts, and in various indoor/outdoor environments

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and communicate professionally

• Willingness to travel regionally for installations

• High school diploma or equivalent required
