Description
Perform maintenance and construction work on the college physical facilities.
Description of Essential Functions (critical tasks)- Operation of Power Plant and associated equipment.
- Record keeping on water treatment chillers generators and power plant equipment.
- Perform all types of repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and HVAC equipment.
- Required to keep facilities in operation and good repair.
- Assist in determining needs and submit purchase requests for parts and equipment.
- Assist in planning and carrying out of maintenance preventive maintenance and construction programs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized maintenance training.
- Three years in maintenance. Must be able to obtain a class D license.
- Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry trades and state and local building code requirements through experience and/or specialized training. Knowledge of Energy Management computer and HVAC controls.
- Ability to perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry work.
- Ability to get along with others.
