Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A Truck Driver / Yard Jockey in Shelbyville, IL to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exercising safe and efficient practices when operating equipment in compliance with all federal and state driving regulations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely moves and service to our customers and team at Lazer.

• Operate a tractor‑trailer safely and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery and efficient yard operations.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of hours, completed deliveries, and vehicle condition.
• Follow company safety protocols and participate in ongoing training.

• $23.00 per hour plus $1 shift differential.
• Weekly pay: $1,500 – $1,600+ average.
• Opportunities for overtime after 40 hours.
• Local routes – Home daily, no touch freight, no long hauls or layovers.
