Analyst V Solutions Delivery – Transportation/Distribution
The Solutions Delivery Analyst V role is designed to serve as the lead technical subject matter expert for assigned systems, services, or applications they deliver & support in the specific functional areas of Transportation and Distribution. This senior position leads the execution of mid‑ to large‑sized IT initiatives, partners with business stakeholders to drive value, and provides third‑level production support to maintain operational stability across Ahold Delhaize USA's brands.
Location& Work Hours
Hybrid work schedule: 3 in‑person days at one of our core locations (Quincy, MA; Salisbury, NC; or Mauldin, SC) and 2 remote days. The job is located at: 208 Bi‑Lo Boulevard, Mauldin, SC.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lead as the technical SME for systems, services, and applications ranging from simple to complex within the Transportation and Distribution functional area.
- Coach and mentor other team members to increase overall technical knowledge.
- Lead large‑scale projects, coordinating resource allocation, budget management, and progress tracking in partnership with AMO and PMO.
- Develop contracts and Statements of Work within the identified Bill of Authority.
- Translate business needs into agile stories or waterfall requirements and collaborate with Solution Engineers to build technical specifications.
- Lead the creation of test cases and matrices, coordinate System Integration Testing, and manage change backlogs for failed test cases.
- Oversee RUN Book documentation and production support turnover.
- Lead post‑production hyper‑care support for cut‑over issues.
- Drive third‑level technical support for the assigned functional area, serving as the main escalation point.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with service level expectations and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Product Teams, and business groups to deliver configuration changes and operational improvements per established standards.
- Identify integration needs, design improvements, and recommended improvement initiatives through monitoring tools and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure operational stability 24/7/365 by providing technical support, system monitoring, and issue resolution, including after‑hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 or more years of relevant technology experience.
- 5+ years in an advanced role or technical capacity, leading teams directly or indirectly.
- 5+ years of guiding and onboarding team members.
- Mastery of professional concepts and functional expertise.
- Experience leading mid‑ to large projects from start to finish with minimal direction.
- Strong analytical skills for complex problems.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality work and traceability of issues.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions.
- Master's Degree or relevant advanced certifications.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile teams and Product/Platform operating models.
- 3+ years of leading teams or advancing technical capabilities.
- Experience in retail or grocery preferred.
