The City of Maumee is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant – Finance. This role provides vital support for the finance department, assisting with various tasks related to accounts payable, income tax, utility billing, payroll and a variety of other tasks as needed. The Administrative Assistant-Finance reports to the Finance Director and collaborates with many individuals and departments as needed.
This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in public finance and public service in general, with excellent growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, a team player, ability to deliver completed projects timely and accurately, work on multiple tasks concurrently, have excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers, experience with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
Requirements for this position include High School diploma and at least 1 year of customer service experience. Although not required, college coursework and prior public service are ideal. The starting wage for this position is $63,992, with annual step advances and excellent benefits.
