Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is looking to hire full-time, morning and afternoon, Lead teachers for preschool. The Child Care Teachers are responsible for the development, coordination, planning, administration, supervision, and delivery of all child care curriculums.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, supervise, and implement program activities
  • Create & develop lesson plans with Lead Teachers
  • Carry out lesson plans
  • Develop & distribute parent communications
  • Develop & maintain relationships with parents
  • Make ongoing systematic observations and evaluations of children
  • Execute sound administration & management of the preschool program in order to increase program quality & sustainability
  • Maintain required program records such as attendance, daily schedules, meal plans, lesson plans, and rosters
  • Assist in measuring Pre-K standards with Preschool children entering Kindergarten
  • Enhance Early Literacy Program
  • Monitor & maintain the "Step Up To Quality" requirements & ratings
  • Coordinator for field trips and/or special events
  • Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • CPR, FIRST AID, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date
  • Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting
  • Experience in the planning, organization, and implementation of age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities
  • Previous experience working with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds
  • Exceptional organizational & computer skills
  • Physical Demands: Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions of the position and to safely supervise children's activities. Such activities could include sitting for extended periods of time, standing for extended periods of time, walking, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, stretching. Reasonable accommodations may be met.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and two years of classroom experience.
