Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is looking to hire full-time, morning and afternoon, Lead teachers for preschool. The Child Care Teachers are responsible for the development, coordination, planning, administration, supervision, and delivery of all child care curriculums.

Responsibilities
Plan, develop, supervise, and implement program activitiesCreate & develop lesson plans with Lead TeachersCarry out lesson plansDevelop & distribute parent communicationsDevelop & maintain relationships with parentsMake ongoing systematic observations and evaluations of childrenExecute sound administration & management of the preschool program in order to increase program quality & sustainabilityMaintain required program records such as attendance, daily schedules, meal plans, lesson plans, and rostersAssist in measuring Pre-K standards with Preschool children entering KindergartenEnhance Early Literacy ProgramMonitor & maintain the "Step Up To Quality" requirements & ratingsCoordinator for field trips and/or special eventsQualifications
At least 18 years of ageCPR, FIRST AID, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire datePrevious experience working with children in a developmental settingExperience in the planning, organization, and implementation of age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activitiesPrevious experience working with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgroundsExceptional organizational & computer skillsPhysical Demands: Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions of the position and to safely supervise children's activities. Such activities could include sitting for extended periods of time, standing for extended periods of time, walking, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, stretching. Reasonable accommodations may be met.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and two years of classroom experience.
