American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a days-only oncology assignment requiring 2+ years of radiation therapy experience and ARRT (T) certification.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
- ARRT (T) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- License required if applicable
- Compact license not accepted
- Oncology radiation therapy department within a cancer treatment setting
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator (LINAC)
- Uses ARIA software for treatment planning and EMR
- Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
- Perform treatment simulations and fabricate shielding blocks as needed
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Prepare equipment for patient treatments including quality control and assurance testing
- Ensure proper infection control techniques and radiation safety practices
- Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff
- Limited RTO requests permitted during the assignment
- Local candidates within a 35 mile radius considered local travelers
