Assist the Branch Manager with overall operation of the branch office and assume full responsibility during any absence of the Branch Manager.
Position Type / Expected HoursFull-time. Business days and hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday until 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee branch operations including answering questions, responding to member requests, problems and complaints, initialing checks, providing system overrides and troubleshooting outages.
- In the absence of the Branch Manager, assume full responsibility of the branch.
- Provide leadership, support and coaching to branch staff so that members experience exceptional service.
- Assist members by opening new accounts and answering questions on disputes and problems regarding credit union products.
- Cross-sell all services of the credit union to members at every opportunity.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED plus a minimum of two years related experience and/or training in customer service, preferably in a financial institution.
- Preferred candidate with eighteen to twenty-four months of supervisory experience.
- Must possess organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Proficient with the PC, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, electronic mail and accurate typing and keyboarding skills.
- Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for servicing credit union members and projecting a positive image as a representative for the credit union.
Notary Public license preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
If the position is at a branch that has a coin machine, the employee may lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. These include but are not limited to:
- Lifting coin bags
- Lifting totes
The employee's environment is well lit, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
