Logistics Coordinator

Barnes has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in its Force and Motion Control SBU, Maumee, OH. Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize export documentation for all export orders.
• Schedule shipments on customer websites and external freight carrier sites.
• Maintain shipment paperwork and file per the records retention policy
• Work with warehouse associates to ensure regular scheduled shipments are completed on time and with correct labelling and paperwork.
• Communicate with customer service and other distribution facilities on status/schedule of shipments
• Use a forklift to assist in loading trucks as needed
• Billing orders in the ERP system as needed
• Perform tasks as assigned by management.
• Conducts job duties in accordance with Barnes Group Code of Ethics and Values.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience with warehouse and/or manufacturing responsibilities, required
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in logistics, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, focused on Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
• Experience working in an ERP system, preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Good attention to detail

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
