Responsibilities

The Food Service Sales Representative for Away From Home (AFH), also known as Food service or On-Premise selling, will execute a selling strategy in assigned accounts and use superior cold-calling selling skills to generate new business for the Restaurant business segment. A successful candidate will manage key customer relationships including customer agreements that deliver against internal operating plans and customer expectations. Customers for this segment may include (but not limited to):
Independent Restaurants/Bars, Chain Restaurants/Bars. The role will also include execution of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) priorities. Work Days: M-F (occasional weekends may be required for special event support)

  • Maximize volume and revenue in assigned accounts (base customers and new partnerships) utilizing fact-based selling methods
  • Execution of Contract/Customer Development Agreements including Trade Payment Management.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution including contract renewals
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Ensure customers are complying with contract requirements
  • Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Analyze customer information and business trends using Dashboard & ERT data to identify and expand business opportunities
  • Forecasting responsibility
  • Beverage Optimizer management
  • Responsible for coordinating fountain, bottle and can and supply income growth
  • Acquire new Food Service accounts via leads, cold-calling and other strategic selling solutions
  • Analyze Customer information using IRI and Nielsen to identify and expand business opportunities
  • Coordinate placement of new equipment and ensure flawless execution of logistics
  • Successful candidates will drive volume, revenue and paint the town Pepsi Blue
  • Responsible for taking product to accounts at times
Compensation and Benefits
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $53,500 – $83,350.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out quarterly.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of fact-based selling experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience (preferred not required)
  • Financial acumen
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Presentation skills
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
