Transportation Supervisor
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the assigned Med Trans fleet, including proper maintenance and the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and drivers. Ensure compliance with all state Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and company policies.

- Optimize daily routes and activities based on branch and fleet workloads as well as available customer order information.
- Ensure all drivers are properly trained according to Med Trans requirements.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained in accordance with the Med Trans vehicle maintenance policy.
- Recruit, hire, train and discipline all drivers.
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with drivers as required by DOT and/or company policy.
- Lead day-to-day activities of employees; assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, direct efforts and provide technical guidance on more complex issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience managing and dispatching drivers and using routing software.
- At least 2 years of experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
- Intermediate knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word (e.g., opening files, formatting cells, inserting charts, creating and editing slides, using common functions and features).
- Physical ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily; lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs; stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
Anticipated annual salary range: $60,320.00 – $87,360.00. Actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills and abilities. The role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
